The 1950s
Formation years, spent studying French painting between the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. His favourite subjects are landscapes, still lives, common items, like a bike or a utensil, sometimes painted with small strokes, similar to mosaic pieces, and other times with ample, moving gestures, or even thin, dashing brush strokes. Colours sometimes create delicate, serene accords, sometimes they create contrast between light and darkness. The style is linked to French painting, particularly Impressionism, post-Impressionism, Pointillism, Divisionism.
