THE 1960S

A period of feverish work, preparing works for personal and collective exhibits, and local and national prizes. The subjects are tied to everyday and working life aspects, as well as free time. The palettes change, and are lively or melancholic, according to the current mood. The painting technique, sometimes tonal, sometimes contrasted, is marked by more or less ample, directional brush strokes. The style can be traced back to post- Impressionism, particularly Matisse and Cezanne.
